ITINERARY

Day 1 – Cochin – Munnar

Pick up from Cochin airport / railway station. Cochin is the Queen of the Arabian Sea
Check in to the hotel.
Visiting the historic Dutch Palace , Jewish Synagogue in Mattancherry. Built in 1568, the Portuguese destroyed this shrine in 1662. Within two years, the Dutch rebuilt it. Fort Cochin, marvel at the historic St. Francis Church – the oldest church constructed by the Europeans in India.
Reach back mainland Cochin by evening.
Over night stay at hotel.

Day 2 – Cochin – Munnar

After following the breakfast and proceed to Munnar, One of the most beautiful hill station in South India. Its situated at a height of 1600 m front sea level.
On the way visit Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls.
Over night stay at resort/hotel.

Day 3 – Munnar

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for the sight seeing.
Visit Eravikulam National Park, where you can see the rare species Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goats).
Visit Mattupetty Dam. Mattupetty offers many fascinating sights to relish. Besides the lush green tea plantations, and the rolling grasslands, the Shola forests in and around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and are habitat to a variety of birds.
Visit Kundala Dam. Kundala is a picturesque town located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala.
Enroute visit Echo Point, View Point & green carpet of Tea Gardens.
Over night stay at resort/hotel.

Day 4 – Munnar – Thekkady

After following the breakfast proceed to Thekkady, Its famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. It is home to herds of elephants, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed Macaques and Nilgiri Langurs.
Visit Periyar wildlife sanctuary, home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more. Evening,enjoy the boat cruise in the lake to watch wild animals.
Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 5 – Thekkady – Kumarakom

Procceed to Kumarakom, a small backwater village which lies along the backwaters of Kerala.
With a bird sanctuary overlooking the Vembanad Lake.
Here you can get a feel of the essence of a typical village life of Kerala.
Overnight stay at resort.

Day 6 – Kumarakom – Alleppey

After breakfast, Checkout from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey which has an immense natural beauty, also known as the “Venice of the East” and its famous for backwater cruising and boat race.
Check into your Houseboat and cruise through the NarrowCanal amidst the Paddy Fields, Coconut Lagoons and coir villages in Alleppey.
Overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 7 – Alleppey – Kovalam

Following the breakfast from the houseboat and proceed to Kovalam.
On arrival check-in into hotel. Kovalam is one of the prime beach destinations in India.
Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the picturesque Kovalam Beach.
Overnight is to be spent at hotel.

Day 8 – Kovalam

After Breakfast explore different beaches of Kovalam. Kovalam is one of the prime beach destinations in India.
Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the picturesque Kovalam Beach. Overnight is to be spent at hotel.

Day 9 – Kovalam – Kanyakumari

After breakfast proceed to Kanyakumari.
Visit to Vzhinjam Marine aquariam,Padmanabhapuram Palace, Suchindra Temple finally Kanyakumary beach.
Padamanabhapuram is 45 Km from the town and is known for its fort which encloses a beautiful palace and a temple.
The famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial, which protrudes into the ocean is one of the most visited attractions.
After sunset return back to hotel,overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

Day 10 – Kanyakumari – Trivandrum

Checkout from hotel and Proceed to Trivandrum. On time transfer to Airport / Railway Station to connect flight/ train for your onward journey.
